PUMPKIN HEAD SCARECROW

New last fall, this fellow made it through his test market with flying colors. Pumpkin Head comes in two sizes. He has a felted wool head and a knit body, stuffed not with straw, but - you guessed it - wool! He does have a bit of straw sticking out of his hands and feet for effect, but he's got wool in his heart and on his mind (so to speak). We know you will love this little guy with his button eyes no matter which size you choose. The crows seem to love him too!

PUMPKIN PINCUSHION

For the sewers and quilters of the world, we have the ultimate in pincushions for you. What makes an all wool pincushion so good? Wool contains lanolin, so that when you store your pins and needles in a wool cushion, they are kept lubricated so they slide easily through the fabric in your project. Also, wool fibers have microscopic scales on each fiber, so that when your pin or needle is slid through the felted wool, the scales serve to knock off the tiny burrs that form on your pins and needles. Scales and oil keep them sharp and the oil will also keep them rust free. What could be better? Our handmade felt pincushion comes in two fanciful flavors - apple and pumpkin - take your choice.
